ABOUT DR. GEORGE

Dr. George is a licensed Clinical Psychologist. She completed a Pediatric Psychology Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center's Pediatric Behavioral Health Integration Program. Dr. George earned her doctorate in psychology at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, Rutgers University. She completed an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited psychology internship at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, Weill Cornell Medical College, in the South Bronx, NY. Her expertise is within treating children and adolescents with significant trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavior problems. In addition, she specializes in working with children with co-morbid psychological and medical conditions. Beyond working with young individuals, Dr. George provides parenting consultation and family-based therapies, recognizing the crucial role of the family unit in fostering healing and growth. Over the years, she has worked in various clinical settings such as community based clinics, academic medical centers, psychiatric institutions, and schools. Dr. George is passionate about bettering the psychological well-being through evidence based interventions and practices.
